Site Tour
Learn how to identify different fossils and experience our dinosaur egg nesting site with interpretation from our staff!
Site Tours begin at the museum at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Please note, for the Devil’s Coulee Egg Site Tour, we recommend the following:
-Ages 4+ due to the uneven terrain and hiking distance.
-Participants must wear sturdy walking shoes.
-Bring water.
-Participants are strongly encouraged to wear hats and use sunscreen.
-Wheelchairs and strollers are not permitted due to the uneven terrain.
*Egg Site tours are weather dependent and are cancelled due to high temperatures or rain due to safety concerns.

-Pets are allowed at the staff’s discretion - sometimes, we cannot accommodate your request due to activities, other guests, safety concerns, or allergies.
-Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
-Pets must be well under control.
-The pet handler must clean any mess their pets make.
-The pet handler is responsible for damages.
-Please call ahead. The museum must be given one hour’s notice for pets to enter.

-The Royal Tyrell and our Service Agreement could restrict dogs at the site. This is beyond our control, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Devil’s Coulee Cooperating Society is contracted by the Alberta government and the Royal Tyrell Museum to deliver interpretive programming at the Devil’s Coulee Dinosaur Egg Site. This site is government land, and you may only enter if accompanied by Devil’s Coulee Museum Staff. Any entry onto the site without a Devil’s Coulee Museum staff member is considered trespassing and illegal.
